Splore is a visual symphony of emotions, colour, life. Since 2002 I have exhibited, photographed, and filmed at Splore, and for the last 10 years project managed the photo/video team.
Splore is like home, with its warm embrace that feeds my creative lifestyle. Each year it challenges me to create more in-depth stories. For the past seven years I have created a series of stage lit audience portraits, at the peak of the costume extravaganza that highlights the energy of the connections people experience with themselves, the music and each other.
I am currently directing a thematic long length live show multimedia documentary. The project bares witness to the relationship with each other, the land and creativity. It’s a hypnotizing large screen look into the human need for fun and interconnectedness. A visual symphony that attempts to say something about the human experience without the barriers of societal expectations.
