Serena's inquisitive look on life, and people doing their stuff, has lead her to photography, filmmaking, getting lost, comfort in the unfamiliar, music of the street, and forever, quietly, challenging the 'inside of the square'.  With the aim to celebrate and enjoy the multicultural society we live in.  Whether it's an advertising brief or a music video, human emotion is strong in Serena's work. With the evolution of digital media Serena has embraced this technology, incorporating moving image and photography. Serena's work is seen on the internet, TV, cinema's, magazines, music concerts, and mobile phones.

Look out for 'Big Voice' A new company founded by Serena Stevenson, Janette Searle and Ryan Edwards, will launch next March.

Face Value the film is now complete, this will be shown as a film installation along with 36 large prints as a solo show at Pataka Museum and Gallery, Wellington, New Zealand, opening on the 14th Feburary 2009.
