My camera and I have ventured into over 50 countries and more than 200 barber shops.  It’s an obsession  of being a part of the connected culture each barber shop has all over the world, which began on my first solo travel venture. I had short hair at the time, so would go in and have my hair cut at the barber, camera at the ready. This series of photographs is 16 years in the making, with the most recent addition being a barber in Hokianga, New Zealand.
